Blushed : My everyday blush combo

October 20, 2012

Normally a blush combo would be a mix of two blushes from the same scheme of color. Well, this combo is a mix of Gingerly and Lovecloud both by MAC and both TOTALLY different!

Step 1
Dust very lightly Gingerly between the hallow of the cheek and the cheek bone. Bring into the blush area. I find it a bit orange-y, so I wouldn’t recommend using it completely as a bronzer.

Step 2
With the same brush, take Lovecloud and sweep it across the end of the apple of the cheek and the cheek bone to have a “lifted face” effect.

Step 3
Take a big fluffy brush like this one and make sure everything is blended. Harsh line are not acceptable!

Et voila!

Here are swatches of both colors

Top: Lovecloud; Bottom: Gingerly

This shouldn’t take much time.. I do this in my everyday make up which takes me literally 5 to 10 minutes!

To apply both blush colors, I normally reach out for my go-to brush. Click here to check it out!

I JUST bought Gingerly the other day and I’ve been really enjoying it for a natural look.. But you’re right, combining it with a light pink on the apples of the cheeks gives it that wow factor 😉

I love MAC too! It’s a really great brand, specially if your searching for good quality products without splurging on high end brands or without limiting yourself to a very low budget.
Thanks for the follow sweetie <3
