Blushed : Glowy Cheeks

I haven’t been applying much makeup, lately – ain’t nobody got time for that. Concealer, blush, a bit of mascara and I’m out. However, I’ve been really enjoying anything related to the cheeks department, making sure I look luminous (which is ironic considering I feel anything but that). It’s all about that glow, people.

Starting with Guerlain’s Terracota Terre D’Ete bronzer – what I like about this is that it’s the perfect I-look-naturally-tanned bronzer with a tiny hint of shimmer. Although it’s a powder and not a cream product, it’ll make you look like you’ve spent your entire holidays on the beach and have that sexy I’m-a-VS-model summer glow. Ya know wha’ ‘am sayin’?

I’ve been sent this gorgeous Bobbi Brown Brightening Brick in Coral. Is it a blush? Is it a highlighter? God knows what it is, but it’s amazing! It’s a mix of six colors and some of them include a bit of shimmer. I like to lightly swirl it on the apples of my cheeks going towards my temples – a la Lisa Eldridge. It adds a bit of color to the cheeks and makes you look healthy.

The Sleek Face Form palette is the latest edition to my collection. I mentioned in my Youtube video here (yes, I’m on Youtube – eep!). Not going to talk about the bronzer and blush, I’m just going to concentrate on the highlighter. ERMERGERD. Lavin’ it. It’s probably one of the best powder highlighters I’ve tried yet: it’s finely milled, blends wonderfully, and gives one heck of a glow! Sold.

Have you tried these products before?

Ive been lusting over the Terracotta bronzer for a while now! Do you reckon it’d suit olive/medium skin tones?

I think it would work best with olive and medium skin tones! Make sure you try it out before buying at the store. xx
