Wycon. Rings a bell? This is my first time trying out this Italian brand, and there are few pieces that I’ve been really liking. Allow me to guide you through them!
I got the Aqua Foundation in the shade Natural. First impression? It looks like second skin. I was impressed by the natural finish this medium-coverage foundation has. The consistency reminds me a lot of the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua (and the name… and the packaging? lol). The shade however is a tiny bit pink on me. Nevertheless, it wore beautifully on my skin.
Venere Eye Palette
The neutral basic girl in me is kind of liking warm orange-y colors a la Urban Decay Naked Heat palette (how unusual, I know). This Venere palette in Earth feeds that need perfectly because 1) the shades are pigmented 2) they blend well, and 3) they last through a full night out with a good primer. Sold!
There are a lot of good lipliners out there, and this is one of them (wish it was a bit creamier though). But what I love about this one is the color: Wine. The color is more on the purple-side of grapes, rather than the red one. The shade is buildable, so you can create a very soft lip with it or a super vampy one.
Lip Power Stick
I forgot to include this in the pictures. This is fat lip pencil that my aunt got me and that I’ve used pretty much all summer! The shade Pale Nude (not pale at all btw) became a resident in my handbag. ‘Nuf said.
I wore this here.
Fearless Cream Blush
I looked at the color and I was like “uh-oh.. too pink” which explains the name: Bubbling. I was so wrong! This gives beautiful glowy pink cheeks while drying down to a powder finish. Score! The only downside of this gem is that it didn’t last long on my cheeks. You might need to keep this in your handbag for touchups.
I got this in brown, a shade I never owned before. It lightened up my lashes, something I’m not used to, while adding a decent amount of volume. It’s a pretty good mascara: it added a nice amount of volume and length. Is it revolutionary? Not really. Do I recommend it? Yes.
This was a bit of a miss for me. It’s a great under-eye pick me up, it truly adds a radiant touch. But it doesn’t have the amount of coverage I usually enjoy, so I find myself using it on top of other concealers: something I tend to avoid.
I’m pretty impressed with the collection. To be honest, when I received those products in Lebanon I wasn’t sure what to expect. It turned out to be a very nice surprise! Definitely heading back to Wycon for more!
Have you tried any of there products? Thoughts? Leave a comment!
